Once Again if there is already a thread about Children In Need then you can delete this thread
It has always been same old same old but now its getting to the point where they might as well repeat last years.
I do think it really needs someone now to become the face of the event and step into Wogans shoes. It would probably be better if Graham and Tess hosted the entire night rather than an hour or so.
Surprised Rickshaw Challenge resurfaces, I mean it's great it makes money and those who do it but for TV viewers it's very very boring and has been flogged to death now.

Cin is just dire now adays its like there dont every try and there know there dont have to try, its like the here some crap and the public are like here the money...
The one show needs to go, and there need to freshen the whole thing up
The Weakest Link line up is particularly poor, even factoring in the sort of line up you might expect on "celebrity" quiz shows nowadays.
Doctor Who and Call the Midwife "previews" have been amongst the "highlights" on the show for years. Would be much better if they did something special for them - even if it's only a few minutes long.
Will the show be coming from Studio 1 again now that TVC is back open or will they be using Studio D at Elstree again? I do find it funny how Strictly still moves up to Blackpool for CIN week even though there hasn't been a studio conflict for years!

Having a "novelty/themed week" circa two-thirds of the way (or whatever) through the series is an important tactic to battle against potential flagging viewer interest. That, and the fact that "Blackpool Week" (or similar) is now a long-established tradition of SCD, make the current lack of any CiN studio conflict an irrelevance.
2017 is only the 5th year/series since SCD has decamped to Elstree, compared to having previously come primarily from TVC for 9 years (ten series, as the first two series were both in 2004).
