Studio D at BBC Elstree looked fantastic in the wide shots. Just shows how suitable it is for LE shows. Pitty the Beeb have only just remembered this studio belongs to them, it had very little work for years.

Seriously, regardless of having the supposed biggest manufactured act on the BBC2 segment, the ratings are going to drop regardless, although Two probably had it's highest share of the younger audience between 2200-2235.

Show was less satisfying this year.
At least they kept in London, I'm fearing that one year they'll move to Salford. Although it would be OK if it was half London, half Salford.

If it was fully Salford, Terry may not host.....

What a stupid statement - there is nothing to suggest Terry wouldn't travel to Salford to host one show on one night which he has a very personal association with.

I said may . There is no doubt that Terry loves CiN and he would travel. But I have a funny feeling he would not like it being moved from London, it's home from the beginning.

I very much doubt he's a fan of it moving from TV Centre.

From London? (TV Centre is closed remember. He didn't make the fuss about that)

To be pedantic, Elstree isn't in London either, it's in Hertfordshire.

Was it Studio D? I thought they used the Elstree Studios up the road where Strictly Come Dancing comes from hence why they were in Blackpool?

Strictly was in Blackpool because it's considered the home of ballroom dancing. All the major championships were held there in years gone by.
