So it looks like details have been released featuring the usual suspects, but at Elstree for the first time. Definitely makes sense for them to make use of Albert Square as seen as they're on site. How far away is the studio? Would they have the opportunity to do a single stedicam camera shot from there to the square for instance?

Wonder if they're got Harry Hill to do a one-off TV Burp, actually featuring new material for once?

Grudging comment about closing of TVC on the One show - will be interesting to see how its introduced, instead of 'Live from BBC Television Centre, will it be 'Live from an old shed in Borehamwood' - probably not.

Is that Brian Blessed doing the coming up bits? It almost sounds like him but not quite. It's going to get very tedious very quickly.

'Elstree' location bug used on-screen for the studio segments of the children's choir feature.

As opposed to a slightly bigger old shed in dodgy old Shepherds Bush? Laughing

Nice to see Harry Hill's huge sausage prop get an outing on TV! It was used at the end of each performance on the 'Sausage Time' tour.

Laughing Nicer atmosphere in Shepherds Bush though and proper audience facilities. Green rooms in the Queen Vic is a definite sign of desperation - it feels like Auntie is homeless. Sad

If they were that desperate for proper green rooms, I'm sure a Portakabin set up or similar would do. If anything, they're showing off by using the Queen Vic set.

I think it's safe to say while CiN is at Elstree, the EastEnders sets will be used for features.
Cando and bilky asko gave kudos

Nice to see them rolling out the West End musical numbers before 10pm for a change.

No BBC One/BBC Two simulcast at 22:00. The programme was off BBC One a good 20-30 seconds before it appeared on BBC Two.

Nice of the network BBC Two CA for giving us a warning about screaming girl One Direction fans.
