Gaby fell out with the production staff apparently. She was a bit of a "diva" backstage (so I've heard!).

Gabby Roslin, like Kaplinsky and Fearne Cotton have all the personality of wood. The best co host was Sue Cook.
And I don't get the BBC . They designed a new Pudsey, and yet look at the various BBC websites and merchandise and they're still using the old design!

I would take that with a pinch of salt, everyone knows what the sun talks out of. Anyway most mags have Terry and Fern all over them, bring back Gabby!

Well, I guess it's no surprise - it may be reflective of the bigger picture; the Beeb appear to be overlooking inconsistency now more than they used to, so I agree - it may not have been the wisest choice to fix this thing which, IMHO, was not broken!

And I don't like how the new Pudsey is animated during the trailers. As a toy it seems fine but the style of animation makes it seem less warm as a character than it did before. But I can't explain it any better than that. It was fine before as you say. It's like new Disney animation, the characters in modern cartoons like Hercules aren't drawn as nicely as in older cartoons like Snow White.

Interestingly, one of the excuses for sending Pudsey kicking and screaming to Lawrence Lwennyn-Bowen was that it would allow him to 'get off his [ B ] [ B ] [ C ] blocks'.
He's been off them before. He was seen bursting through the screen and running towards camera in last year's titles, IIRC.

Well that's one person in continuity gagged for the evening, should make the announcement into the news interesting.

Well here we go, with the first song of the night "Any Dream Will Do". Anyone singing along?

Is it just me, or is Pudsey tearing on the plasma screens in the studio? Someone needs a new graphics card methinks...
