Moyles made a sarcastic joke about Ant and Dec and then Wogan mumbled a response, and nobody seemed to hear it or get what he was saying. It sums it up really.

I think Wogan should step down. For today's young kids, an old bloke who presents Radio 2, Eurovision and Points of View is hardly an exciting proposition

Considering those 7 people are all supposedly professional broadcasters with centuries of combined experience, that was a pretty lazy and pathetic effort by all concerned.

I think most of them, exception of Fearne and Terry, had been at the BBC bar beforehand.

This Never Mind the Buzzcocks sums up the whole programme, this segment though is really awful to watch, Fern looks quite p***ed off, the whole show just seems to lack any fluidity, its awfully cringy.... Terry.......dear oh dear....really I think Fearne could do a much better job on her own, I get the impression that Terry doesn't even know who half of the guests are! It really would be a much better show without him, I really feel sorry for Fearne, I think if it HAS to be a double header then perhaps Chris Moyles or maybe Chris Evans would be great at it, I just think Sir Terry's had his day! Its just crap crap crap!!!

Chris Moyles? Deary me. As said above his 'jokes' can be very desperate at times and he's not half as cocky on TV as on Radio. And I'm actually saying this as a fan of his breakfast show!

Fearne's surprised me. It seems the more confident she gets what with getting the Xtra Factor gig she's more herself and much better because of it. She did seem a bit contrived before.

Doubt the kids are too bothered. They'll be out mugging some granny around this time.

Also the 'voice of the balls' annoys me too, and the way he is on every single BBC light entertainment show with his 'lets have a time check' banter

I know Peter Dickson is on everything on ITV1 and Channel 4, but at least Peter has 2 voices depending on what show he is doing

He confused Ant 'n' Dec with Anton Du Beke for comedy purposes.

Laughing Really Alan should take head of your comments and decline work from the beeb. Not like he needs a job eh.

Agree about Peter though, sometimes you'd never know it was the same voiceover.

Only the dumbos at Radio 1 didn't get it.

It becomes quite boring though having Alan voicing every single show, there must be more than 2 voiceover artists in TV

and nobody got it because it was so mumbled

Lol at Fearne interviewing Chris Moyles backstage there

Fearne excitedly: So are you sticking around tonight having a party?
Chris: No, I'm double parked!

He quite obviously knows it was the worst thing he's ever taken part in since that chat show he did years ago

Or "Chris: No, I've done my part" as the subtitles incorrectly heard.

Why do the 'Cast of Greese' need two microphones each?

A lot of people won't speak ill of him and I am still a great fan of Wogan but I too think he should step down sadly, I mean, its not the 1990s where the appeal had its peak and I think thats half the reason why the show has become awkward in recent years. Sir Terry only appeals to Eurovision fans and his Radio 2 listeners nowadays. He's only a "broadcasting legend" now with his radio/Eurovision commentary work to be honest. POV isn't much cop.

That said, if he's dropped from say next years show no doubt we'll all moan and want him back. Wink

True, at least PD mixes it up a bit. Guess Alan is just a good friendly voice for the BBC to have. If it's not broke why fix it? There are a lot of bigger issues channels need to sort at the moment.
