Dont' see why the presenter getting paid is such a big idea myself.

Just the rest of the crew did it as a freebie but Wogan picks up a whacking cheque for it......mind you he must need the money!!

Actually, they all get paid. The money doesn't come from the charity fund.

No.Horrible.They'd better not change the suit.

I'm not entirely certain what that even means. As for the general redesign of Pudsey, I think it's good and do like the fontography though I think I know it from someplace.

No doubt the Kaplinsky and Fearne Cotton will be hosting alongside Wogan again this year. I don't know, but I don't think Fearne and Natasha actually get on that well.

Personally I like the update to Pudsey and the font. Aside the on-screen animated version, he's been the same pretty much since 1985!

May make it more limited but I'm wondering if it would revamp the show if they broadcast away from TV Centre...i,e: give it an actual variety feel from a theatre etc. In recent years, at times, its mainly become a charity version of Top of the Pops with video causes thrown in.

All this said, I suppose at the end of the day its all about just raising money.

No doubt the Kaplinsky ...

Last I heard, the Kaplinsky had been dropped from the plans, much to her disgust!!!

I bet all those BBC local TV stations who forked out for a Pudsey costume are p*ssed off right now! Laughing

No, the website's just the artist's 2D representation of Pudsey. So the old costumes will still be valid Wink

Almost valid, his bandage now has multi-coloured dots, there is a huge stylistic change in his face and he's more orange.

Looking at it like that, the current costumes are not valid at all.

To add credence to the fact you're talking less sense than Paul Akinbola (or an Aldritt) when off the happy pills, here's a few images in physical form.

New Pudsey

Yup, dead on near identical on the princple it's a small bear with a bandage on one of its' eyes, otherwise no. FFS, this is the type of "The sky is blue. Well, no, it's green if you squint and stand on your head" argument you dragged me into Mr Rothwell, shame on you.

Is it just me or has Pudsey become Winnie the Pooh?

WHY?

By all means modernise the logo, but Pudsey's iconic.
