and the old-design Pudsey has just appeared on the
Robin Hood
scene.
And Guy of Gisborne's threatening to throw him into a vat of molten lead or something nasty if enough money isn't raised.

Well either CIN or Strictly will have to move studio since it'd be a bit of hassle to change TC1 so quick overnight. But then again, I've seen a super-fast turnaround before at the BBC....
But both programmes have rehearsal time (in fact BBC2 were showing SCD's live earlier) so they can't share a studio.
I just started watching it, the studio doesn't look that small, it has studio 1's angled seating too

Anyway, he has been saved, by Sir Terry (seemingly of London, not Limerick).

There is a limit to how much SD material can be used in an HD programme before it cannot be classed as HD. With the number of diffrent parts of the BBC contributing they wouldn't be able to meet that target.

Incidentally, I'm a little surprised this isn't going out in HD.

Scotland have opted with some music from Shane Ward. (Or is that Warne? I can never remember the difference.)
Studio A's looking rather sparkly, but for some reason seems to be quite titchy when they use the back-of-the-audience shot.
They opened with a nice shot across the river of PQ with a massive Pudsey being projected onto the side. (I have to say though - I prefer the 2D Pudsey to the 3D one.)
