i'd never claim to be the friendliest of all forumers, but every thing you seem to post is either snidey or smug. you come across as if you are socially retarded, unable to add even an ounce of civility to your posts now and then.

get over yourself, please.

I'm sorry that you took my post in that way.

I just get pissed off when I read people slating CIN for being a success for needy charities.

It's the low of the low.

Cracking legs though.....according to my keenly trained observer, who seemed to be paying a bit too much attention, thankyou!

Excuse me, but if they wanted my money so badly (which they do not have fyi, I donated to Oxfam directly) they shold have quality.

The thrust of the debate (which you have entirely missed) is that CIN raised record amounts again this year....as long as it continues to beat last year's total, do you really think they should adjust it?

Do you like playing about with charity's money so that you can enjoy more of the evening?

I hate to break it to you, but the people who give the most money to CIN might well have different preferences to you as to what is entertaining....CIN tries to please everyone a bit so that the most money is raised.

I guarantee that if you were to design the CIN schedule to suit YOUR tastes, less money would be raised.

BS, I'm pritty damned sure that I wasn't not the only Dr Who fan who cryed "Shinanigans!" with that whole "2 hours for 5 minutes" thing.
