I'll try again with the new thread as my last one had a technical hitch and I can't erase it as it's locked.

wondered if you have any interesting ideas for children in need events, my idea, If I lived in London, would be to try and get on as many live programmes throughout the day starting with BBC breakfast, GMTV, This morning, loose women, Paul O grady show, Richard & Judy, Blue Peter, local news, rasing money along the way and finally appear on the actual children in need show with the amount raised.

anybody else got any good ideas of things they'd like to do

anybody else getting a headache this evening from too many local fireworks Evil or Very Mad ?

I'm sure your intentions are worthy, but not a suitable topic for this site.

Perhaps you ought to seek information from

I wonder where they'll do the recording?

They can hardly wheel the winner into Red Bee Towers and say it's the BBC any more, can they?

I think they'll have to, to be honest. There actually are quite a few BBC staff in the Broadcast Centre, but no BBC signage AFAIK.

Are you back?!

No doubt that's what they'll do but it doesn't really have the same effect as going in through Stage Door of Television Centre.

A bit like being given your Blue Peter badge down at the local scout hut!

I always wondered what happened to the 'Children In Need' song that they used to play - especially with getting school choir kids to sing it during the show - since the launch of The Children In Need single, a few years' back, they ditched this,.... who agress that they should bring back the song??!!!

The building's owned by the BBC, though - and there are a couple of floors worth of BBC staff.

There's lots of Red Bee signage all over the place, where, curiously, there was no BBC branding before.

well if it's a recording surely they could do it at TVC and email the MP3 down to Red Bee Towers?
