As mentioned - a real laugh out loud episode last night, as always. He really does have it spot on and I always watch thinking he has the kind of personality that you should hate in a kind of "what do YOU know?" way. But he's just so bloody likeable.
And anyone who calls someone a see you next Tuesday (albeit bleeped) gets my vote.

I thought it was quite telling how he explained the guidelines with alcohol commercials. - jeez, they may as well stop advertising them full stop.
Great to see Barry Sh!tpeas too.

Great show last night as always.
They should really release Screenwipe on DVD - I'd buy the whole collection!

Hmmmm at this week's edition. Very enlightening and nice to hear from some writing greats but it was so out of character and don't felt it really needed 50 minutes.
I think if I'd have known how different it would have been then I would have been prepared for it but I'm kind of wishing that I'd watched Alan B'stard on the other side and saved this Screenwipe for the iPlayer.

As i said on another forum:
You know when i started watching this, i knew straight away that it was going to be nothing but the interviews for the best part of an hour. I thought whilst watching it that i might think at the end that it really should have been broken up with extra clips or some funny bit with Charlie on his sofa talking about writing. But at the end, even though there was nothing but talking for the best part of an hour, i was still glued to the TV. Fantastic decision to do it that way in my view. Only on BBC Four would anybody have the balls to just have interesting and talented people TALK for an hour. Brilliant stuff. I'm also glad that Charlie didn't feel the need to get his personality across too much and let the talent just talk. It's that which separates him from modern interviewers like Jonathan Ross.
From a presentation point of view, did anyone notice the non-standard credits horizontally scrolling at the end? Who let them do that?
