I've noticed Screenwipe aren't particularly bothered about the quality of their clips. They've used VHS on a lot of occasions as well as YouTube. When they use Sky Plus, they often leave the play logo on-screen in the corner of clips. I imagine they probably record even BBC stuff rather than source it direct a lot of the time.

Not sure what they are using to archive news broadcasts - but loads of the clips had been zoomed a bit and not uniformly (i.e. different BBC clips had been zoomed differently). Wonder if this was to get rid of 14:9 pillarbox bars needlessly?
