Last Monday, the episode which was scheduled to be shown on BBC2 was the Advertising Special, but they showed the Mission Documentaries episode instead.
The Advertising Special was rescheduled for tonight, but they're now showing the Kids' TV episode.
Why do they keep postponing the advertising episode?
Instead of showing them in order, they started with episode 4, and are now showing episode 5. I wonder if they'll be showing the whole series, or if they'll miss some out.
EDIT: They actually started with episode 6, because they showed the review of the year on the 2nd.
And tonight was "Except For Viewers In Scotland"-ed for a Robert Burns thing (on at 8, University Challenge being bumped to 10, and Screenwipe was just bumped full-stop).

But thanks to whoever was on 2 tonight for not destroying the mood at the end of the Postgate tribute.

Maybe something to do with Tony Heart? I didn't see tonight's showing but when Screenwipe has been repeated on BBC2 in the past they have updated things in very small ways, to reflect recent events. Was there any mention of him tonight? Then again the schedulers may just have thought it was appropriate to show it as people will have been talking of kids tv of yore more than usual today.

Screenwipe was shown in Scotland at 11:20pm (the same time as last week's episode)

I was thinking that it might be because of Tony Hart, although I still don't understand why they showed the Mission Documentaries episode last week, instead of the Advertising episode.

Perhaps something as simple as a clearence battle (regarding repeats, or clearence wasn't granted in the first place) with an ad agency that will be resolved in time, but hasn't just yet.
As far as I can remember there was no reference to Mr Hart, nor any of his contribution to the world of television. Which, although is a shame, is obviously because the programme is not currently in production.

Although Morph was featured in the stop-motion animation bit briefly.
BBC2 have just repeated the review of the year episode again, postponing the scheduled advertising special for a 3rd time.
What is going on with the BBC2 scheduling of Screenwipe?
There's no episode scheduled for next week, and no episode scheduled yet for the week after, so it looks like they may not be showing any more episodes on BBC2.
Shelving of the advertising episode this time was because the BBC have no bollocks, and according to Brooker, in reaction to Ross' OAP joke on the radio. From his Twitter feed.
I heard a rumour he's also going to do a News type based version of Screenwipe at some point as well.
Yeah, I read in Broadcast a pilot was recorded during the Summer and a full series has been commissioned for 2009. 'Newswipe' will cover current affairs.
Newswipe starts on Wednesday the 25th of March at 10.30pm on BBC Four.
