Why? It didn't have an explicit title and was lumped in with a fairly generic thread. I think it warrants its own thread as it's certainly the end of an era at ITV - however long it lasted.

True, I was going to ask the moderators to lock the thread but you're right, there should be a seperate thread for this in the first place anyway because I find generic threads too long to read. But to go with the joke you should have gone to Specsavers.

Agree - it does warrant it's own thread!

I can't see Mr Duncan jumping ship from the booming C4 to join the poisoned challice that is ITV.

Most likely though to be someone we haven't heard of looking into breaking into TV. I can't see anyone wanting to leave a comfortable position to take on probably the biggest challenge in TV at the moment!

It's a whammy of a challenge, but I really hope whoever it is can get ITV back where it used to be. Although it may look like I hate ITV in my posts, I don't hate the brand itself - just the current administration, one of which is going soon so it's all good Smile

Cheers

Whoever takes over can't do any worse than he has. All he has done is rip the heart out of ITV over the past few years.
