Even when the LWTP name was in use, because that was separate from the LWT station, every LWT programme came with two endcaps - one to say that it was made by LWT Productions and another to say that it was an LWT presentation for ITV.


Yes, util then independant productions had to get on to the network via an ITV company. Then the rules changed and indies could pitch directly to andget commissioned by the Network Centre. The programme still needs to be complied before it gets on air and that is normally done by one of the ITV companies, but that doesn't mean they have anythign to do with the programme itself
