Channel TV

Keef Whyte: someone whose just turned up at Metropol and made precious little of a name for himself there, who has now spilled onto this forum. Might I suggest to our moderators here that he be banned forwith?

Back to the subject of Channel TV...

Did anyone else switch on this evening expecting to watch the Channel Weather to find Meridian's weather forecast, followed by a Meridian ident before the programme The New Forest? Did this only happen on satellite or was this on terrestrial as well?

That doesn't surprise me, as Channel take Meridian as their feed for all things network. They even take Meridian's regional programmes as they can't be arsed or can't afford to make or comission their own.

Alas, it was on terrestrial as well. I only flicked accidentally to ITV at the time so was surprised. Obviously the person pushing the buttons popped out for a fag.
