Oh dear, we seem to be going down the random scenes from nature route...

And nobody noticed this why? That's basically what they were doing before, just now it's not random landscapes from the islands.

At least its local.....

But at least the previous idents seemed relevant - and I'm sure the landscapes were recognizable to a great majority of the islanders.

An ident of a bird on a feeder just feels lazy as it says nothing about the Channel Islands.

Fair point but I'd be willing to reckon the term "indigenous species" will come up.

I wrote as much when I first posted the bird feeder ident, but deleted the comment as - and correct me if I'm wrong - isn't it a sparrow?

Could be, I'm no ornithologist.

The 'Channel Television' legend on the Surfer and Bird idents seem better aligned than one on the Cow ident. Maybe they realised the problem?

EDIT: Never mind, already commented on. Must try harder.

At least the Jersey cows ident mean something

And there's two versions of that, now.

I don't understand why the still call themselves ITV1 Channel Television - it sounds silly. ITV1 Channel Islands would be better, surely?
