Channel Five Football

Now I see that the (clearly Inexperienced!) John Barnes is presenter of Five football coverage, where does this leave Steve Scott? As a jobbing newsreader on the ITVNC? Did he leave or was he sacked. I thought he was quite good.

Is this the same Steve Scott that presents on Five Live?

Yes he is the same Steve Scott on Five Live, and brother of Angus Scott presenting ITV's coverage of the Rugby Union World Cup.

I agree - John Barnes is really dreadful - but I do remember Gary Lineiker being rather wooden presentation-wise when he first started on tv.

I thought he looked and sounded a bit like Angus! But why did he leave Channel Five?
