Just out of interest, can any one provide the info for a number of channels annual programming budget.

I know More4 will launch with an annual budget of £33m, while E4's budget has just been increased from £40m to £60m. How does this compare with the BBC and ITV digital channels, and also with Sky One.

Secondly, does anyone have any idea of Sky Sports budget and revenue? We know around 7m subscribe to Sky, but how many of these also have Sky Sports.

Does Sky Sports revenue just come from advertising revenue and subscriptions to Sky Sports, or does it also get a slice of the general subscription to Sky?

In particular, I'm wondering how Sky Sports revenue compares to the cost of the rights it acquires - after all, the Premiership deal alone is worth over £1billion over three (or is it four) years.

Sky Sports apparently gets about £700 Million per year, based from the Premium subscription and advertising, I'm uncertain whether it recieves a slice of the mid tier Sky subscriptions.

BBC1 and ITV1 get roughly the same amount to spend on programmes, which I believe is coming and probably a bit more than £900 Million.
