Channel Breakdowns: Faults during Programmes etc.

Does anyone remember what happened, or what Gordon means by that's what they intended?

He means that the item was meant to be (the production team intended it to be) on earlier in the programme (or higher in the running order). If an item isn't ready for the slot in the programme that it has then it gets bumped down.

Sorry for raking up this thread but..

Before the ITV News this lunchtime - their was a Christmas Cooks advert. With just sound and a blank screen.. it then finished. Then went into an ident (into News) with picture and sound.

Did anyone else catch this *Cock Up?*

Nothing new, but once again during Hollyoaks last night on E4 things screwed up.

No sound at the beginning and then suddenly cutting back to a still of the sponsor ad before jumping back to the programme. Sound lost also at the end.

Yes... I noticed that too last night, whilst watching Hollyoaks... I was going to put this in the E4 Faults forum but, it has been archived - and no more posts can be added to it...!
