Channel with the best idents

Ok so what channel has the best idents you decide.

I think BBC World has the best idents and music! You can't beat it!

BBC Two is really imaginitive with it's idents since 1964!

And at no.2:CBBC 1985-1997.

At no.3 LWT 1969-1999.

The BBC TWO ones have to be the best and most original; after all they were the first to do break out and do something completely different - some of them have managed to last ten years and yet still look fresh!

The BBC ONE balloons (except the lifestyle ones) come a close second - again, a very imaginative concept.

But if we were talking all-time idents, there really is no beating the BBC1 mirror globe of the early 1980s.

BBC Two idents are the most imaginative out there.

BBC One idents show off the UK in a very nice angle.

These idents are the best.

My top three is:

(1) Current S4C idents. Especially the one with a thin line of steam rising from the very sharp tip of a red pencil crayon, and the one with a fire-breathing brass instrument (I think it's a French Horn?)

(2) The triangular ident used by Thames in it's final years before losing out to Carlton.

(3) The Yorkshire ident that was like the Channel 3 era one, except for the 3s having been removed.

Well, the most imaginative idents IMO are the current S4C ones.

Carlton's are imaginative too! I mean, an eye? Swans? Strawberries?!



I reckon Yorkshire's got a totally new jingle.. It doesn't sound like the rest of the ITV network. Then again, could be just me!

Sky's 1996 Corpoarte Idents, brilliant orchestral music, and beautiful animations

Oh yes the 1995/96 corporate titles, are the best, great animationa and music.

I think the Sky Premier Idents and music RULE!!
and they ALWAYS show the full ident!!

well, i'm not sure about my faves, but BBC PRIME's current idents are absolutely rubbish...quite in contrast to the channel's content.
