Promo for new Milkshake! aired earlier today. Features one of the new idents, new shows, the new studio and presenters looking far too happy about everything.

They've been using the M in the centre of the sun for continuity for many years.

No change there then.

Despite using the m in the sun for a DOG/Bug on screen, the sun in the logo is behind the a currently, so a repositioning to make the m the focus.

It clearly looks like it will be more of an evolution of the current brand. The Composerworks have worked on the music;
"The Brief
Refresh the current opening and closing ident for the strand. Give it an acoustic, handmade and raw feel with guitar, ukelele, hand claps whilst retaining the familiarity and energy of the original."

I suppose that with the current branding being so strong it would be silly to change to something totally new.

I'd see why they'd want to update the title sequence. Currently, it only features the first 3 presenters and now there are God knows how many of them.

Here are the new titles followed by a link for the new YouTube channel online in the new studio. For some reason I'm reminded of Sesame Street, I'm not sure if that's the style or the children singing. It's nice, playful and colourful. It's nice to see them with a 3D set (rather than layers of 2D panels).



There's now a clock on screen next to the logo.

Presumably you're reminded of the Sesame Street titles from the late 90s with children drawing numbers on the floor with chalk which then come alive.
