Channel 5 to show ITN News Channel

I'm sorry, I really cannot follow you...

In other posts I have simply said to people to stop going on and on about BBC World because at the moment it is not available in the UK and will not be simply because a group of people want it to be.
I am all in favour of BBC World being available in the UK, but the fact of the matter is... it isn't and it wont be until there is a legislation change, and that is not currently on the agenda.
It is only on the agenda if the BBC decide to lump News24 onto BBC Worldwide... and as yet that is not going to happen.

I am in favour of it, but I cannot see the point in everyone in here nagging constantly and starting new threads every single day asking for it!

I don't think that people actually care anymore whether the BBC has adverts or not.
Ask people what they would rather do.... pay over 100 quid a year, or watch 3 mins of usually very funny and in this day and age cleverly constructed adverts.
I know which one I would choose.
ITN NC has adverts, CNNI has adverts yet they are nothing at all like Sky News, it already takes breaks every 15 mins, and puts in trailers! I honestly don't think that the puny viewing audience of News24 would care!

How - yet again, did we get BACK onto the same repetitve, stale, chit-chat of BBC News Twenty-Bore?

Lets talk about how nice the set of the ITN News Channel is - it's lovely and blue and grey, it reminds me of a refreshing rain storm, with the grey clouds, and the blue bolts of lightning...

I wish they would get a bigger desk, put on two presenters and run it to a Sky style schedule.
I just don't think that a 15 min channel does ITN justice.
I could understand them making it if they already had an established mainstream channel, but making just that seems a little silly really.

I don't call refreshing getting soaked to the skin, freezing your backside off and running for shelter only to find that you have forgotten your key and being forced to stand outside your house, in the middle of nowhere with no shelter but the cat!

Well we have 2 cats, so I could have sat on one of them.
Actually I found a part of the garden that was slightly sheltered and just waited there for a whole hour.
