Hi there - Newbie alert! Hope you can offer some advice please....
I live in a block of 12 flats in Reigate, sharing the same ariel. We've always had pretty good reception until the beginning of September when C5 started broacasting from our local transmitter. Now C5 ghosts over the other 4 channels making them virtually unwatchable.
Other residents in the area do not suffer with this problem and if we use a portable ariel the problem does not show either. It happens whether or not the signal is boosted or put through a video.
C5 have washed their hands of our problem for now. A local ariel specialist has quoted £190 to sort the problem though it wasn't me who dealt with them so I don't know what's going on there.
What sort of signal splitting systems do blocks of flats normally use and is it an adjustment I can make myself? I'm fairly hand with a screwdriver!
Any thoughts or comments appreciated
Cheers
