Surely that's only going to be a real problem if there is no possibility of watching the clashing programme on Channel 5±0 again on either Channel 5+1 or Channel 5+24.
I'd have thought it was obvious. But you're making programmes of the same nature or even the same programmes compete with each other.
You could argue it's only really a problem for Big Brother, but I think it would be better if you could watch yesterdays episode at 8pm, then tune to Channel 5 for that days. Also if someone was out at say 8pm one night it may be due to an daily commitment so giving a different time again might be better.

Considering C5 are removing +1 from Freesat's EPG and Virgin Media, they still have an issue with getting people to watch any of their digital spin-offs.

The thing is having it exactly 24 hours might be problematic, perhaps 23 hours might be better but I can see there would be difficulties there.
Yep, they'd have to rename it every day

I'd rather watch the caption than Super Casino...
What about overnight programming like Super Casino ? That is a problem.
I expect there will be a 3 hour caption.

Well it's not if this is going to be more profitable.
Well it's not if this is going to be more profitable. I don't think the teleshopping is from the previous 24 hours, unless Channel 5 is also gong to show teleshopping for 19 hours a day too. That said you'll probably see the same things several times throughout the day.
I feel that this is a major disappointment for Channel 5. They should be launching a Milkshake type channel for the little ones instead rather than this load of confusing dribble.

Having to show Teleshopping for 19 hours from the previous day really is a stupid idea.

Sky's EPG allocation policy:

You'd think Channel 5 was already aware of this, so it's possible the may not do 18 hours of teleshopping after all, at least not on Sky.

(i) Shopping genre
A channel will be allocated a channel number in the Shopping genre if a substantial element of its programming is of a shopping or advertising nature and the channel would not be more appropriately listed in the Gaming sub-genre of the EPG.
In this context, a channel will have a “substantial element” of programming of the type described above, if:
(i) fifty per cent or more of the programming on the channel is of a shopping or advertising nature; and/or
(ii) more than 3 hours of programming of a shopping or advertising nature is broadcast on the channel per day between 10:00 and 24:00; and/or
(iii) more than 9 hours of programming of a shopping or advertising nature is broadcast on the channel per day.
