When you saying Channel 4, are you referring to the old 4-Tel service?
Surely the current 4-Tel service is a programme support service anyway. When the ITC set up the teletext licences, there would be the main for ITV and Channel 4 which would be won by Teletext UK and other services would be ancilliary and would only carry programme support information only, no other content would be allowed. Even the adverts would have to be adverts shown on the channel.

Going back to the original post I made, Channel 4 are to make their Teletext Service a Programme Support Service. See p.108

It's page 408 that has the details - it looks like the C4 programme support service will be greatly improved.
Does anyone know what will happen with S4C's Sbectel. There is no info on page 408 on S4C, but I presume they will be forced out of their current pages or are Teletext providing a new service for S4C as well.

I'm surprised that T4, Sport, Home and News get pages but other sections/strands of C4 don't - where are the pages for 4Learning, RI:SE, 4music, Outside etc?

Where is Bamboozle?
I never seem to use Analogue Teletext but I did this afternoon for a while and looked through Teletext on ITV1, C4 and five. But when I pressed P.152 on Channel Four I got something different, but I know it has to be there, as when it searches at the top it goes through pages such as 12F, which are used for Bamboozle. Shows how much I use Teletext then! But I checked P600 on Granada and everything seems the same as it was in 1999, but Four Text has something at the bottom which says about the changes and see P4something. So I did that, but really the Channel 4 bit of Teletext is going back to 400.

Is this going to affect Bamboozle at all?

Fun & Games (which includes Bamboozle) is moving to pages 160-3. As Prizewise will be carried in Total Ent (which will be on C4 300 after the switch) I assume it will be 'Boozle on 161, Chess 162 and Bridge 163. Connect will start on 150 with Timestars and Godlines after F&G. 350-399 will be the youth pages currently on 150-199 but with Planet Sound before Sauce. Full info on 408.
