Though I assume the studios still have the chevron and Yorkshire Televison words on the front.
The YTV website seems to indicate they do. The same goes for Hull - I reckon YTV - and all GMG and Carlton studios - will rebrand post-merger. (If the rumours about endcaps are right)

Well the Channel 4 'quiz hour' was all pear shaped today.

Due to racing, Fifteen to One was moved to the 12.30pm slot, with Countdown still at 3.15pm.

If they move it any earlier it'll be replacing Ri:se!

Yes but waking up to William G Stuart and Twice Nightly Whitely can only be a good thing!

Technically it's true with Twice Nightly Whitely, as Countdown usually has it's 5am repeat most mornings and don't forget the short lived Countdown Masters too! I also remember that for a short while during the mid 1990's they repeated Fifteen to One at 6.30am, though I would rather watch Countdown rather than RI:SE. I hope what they're saying about programmes like Friends and The Simpsons replacing RI:SE is true.

But today's Fifteen To One at 12.30pm was a one-off, makes a change from Cheers, though it is good it's the only thing they show at lunch.

Interesting little article in this week's RT (issue dated 18-24 October) - re the decision to move Countdown to 3.15:

Quote:
Questions have been tabled in Parliament, petitions raised and switchboards bombarded. The cause of such angst? The moving of Channel 4's Countdown from its early evening slot to 3.15pm on weekdays. "I'm applaed," says former Countdown adjudicator Gyles Brandreth. "It causes great inconvenience, and change is always hard to cope with."

Labour MP Jonathan Shaw has already laid down an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons protesting against the change and calling on the show to be restored to its former slot. Brandreth adds: "When I was an MP, I made it a rule never to go canvassing between 4:15pm and 5pm, because you can't win a vote if you disturb people watching Countdown ."

But will the time change spell the demise of the show, as its fans fear?
"It's imperishable," says Shaw. "Richard Whiteley will be presenting it as a centenarian, long after the programme schedulers are forgotten."

So there you go - the nation voices its disapproval!

I'd hardly call 4.15pm early evening.

With it's 3.15pm slot, are the "Teatime Teasers" still "Teatime Teasers"
