Channel 4 Schedule

just spotted on an ad on Channel 4 that the daytime schedule is being changed -

4.00pm will be some kind of holiday/homes/lifestyle programme - can't quite remember

I was mostly shocked to see Richard and Judy being moved to 4.30pm while BBLB is back (thank god!) at 5.25pm.

However, I thought since Richard and Judy are moving times does this mean that viewing ratings could slip during the summer season in which it will be broadcast as many people will still be at work and could the Paul O'Grady Show snatch the ratings with that starting at 5?

Mmmmmmmmmm...interesting.

It's probably because Channel 4 don't want to move The Simpsons and Hollyoaks out the 6-7pm slot, whilst still having BBLB around on a daily basis, all three programmes do very well in Channel 4's ratings.

Good idea really IMO, the only channel to have a constant run of programmes for younger people between 5.25pm and 7.00pm.

Well, ITV1 are screening the best of the Paul O'Grady show next week, so I assume people will just tune into that.
