Between Countdown and DOND, they tried to run the Specsavers trailer for Countdown, and wouldn't start, it was just a still picture. Then tried a BB advert, same happened with that.
Then after the break, instead of an ident they displayed a white slide with no 4 saying "Programmes Continue Shortly".
Looked like the server wasn't playing but it was still loading and cutting between clips.
Explains why the countdown sponsor appeared for it's duration and then cut to the Big Brother sting and then to the ads. Hence no ident into programme and slide that was available at the time.
All break bumpers are failing to play; just stuck around the first frame of animation, or being replaced by a similar still frame of the sponsorship sting.
