Channel 4 Presentation

So is series 14 being played out on Sunday afternoons then?

That ident sounds like it could be good. But I wish C4 would do more special/programme-specific idents. They haven't given us anything for Christmas or the New Year for several years now.

It is annoying they do these special things for shows like The Simpsons or strands like 4 Music and then completely ignore Christmas.

Just Before simpsons:

it the first time in Ages I have Seen Alien

It's all going wrong on C4 at the moment. Coming out of the news the sponser clip froze, then quickly cut to black. Someone could be heard saying 'you've buggered up...' before being cut off.

After a repeat showing of the sponser clip, the weather was shown without any hiccups. But then the sponser film at the end of the weather froze again! The announcer apologised for the technical problems.

Next a trail for Bride and Prejudice and the 'Roadworks' ident; everything seemed sorted. Unfortunately 3 Minute Wonder refused to play resulting in another cut to black and another apologie statement from the announcer.

Yeah, I just posted it in the News forum because it started on the news.

That new ident for the Simpsons was shown just now.

God damn C4 for not launching C4+1 sooner!

The new ident was just shown again going into Big Brother. I've recorded it, and will stick it on YouTube after BB.

Yeah - saw it before BB. Didn't think the actual ident was that good - the build up is brilliant, but the logo is just rubbish compared to the rest.


And I doubt the producers would have made one for them if they didn't have a movie coming out!

I doubt channel four would have wanted one if there wasn't a movie out to cash in on.

Oh dear. FNP got off to a dodgy start with sound problems, a green screen, and more silence. Sound is back now...
