Channel 4: New Look from New Year's Eve

Bit like one of the Central cake idents a few years back..?
That had the logo being brought into shape as the viewing aspect tracked around.

You're right, it's going to be a completely new logo, as I said on here about six months ago!!

Thought as much. I think that little 4 ident picture is a bit of an unfortunate red herring. I'm sure they'll have something different.

Channel 4 wont change there current logo - I don't know why anyone cannot see that.. Its been making them a hell of alot of money over the years and identifys with the station - why loose all that?

Its just like changing the Coca-Colo Logo, its a logo which millions of people reconise, and just looking at the logo will tell them what the companie is all about.

I don't have the capability to put the picture of one of the idents on the forum, but is on the front cover on the journal if you go and look in all good newsagents.

So, it seems that we will be saying goodbye to the current idents when the 'alternative christmas' idents are introduced later this month!
