No, they still use all of them (except one).
Indeed, that exception being 'Lazy Bloke'...But why?
I'm sure they could have replaced old Des on the TV with new Des, but then realized how the audio from that Countdown is merged into the music; I'm guessing they don't have the music isolated, otherwise they could have added a recent soundbite along with a clip of the show.
I'd agree; my favourite Channel 4 Christmas symbol is that. And one I vividly remember seeing at the time of airing, moreso than most that followed it!
Liked how the mirrored tree '4' that re-emerged was a neat tweak of the figure, to give it a pointy tip. The revolving element being evocative of the classic BBC 'model on a turntable' idea, too.

Their last decent one was 1995 (two interlinked, revolving 4s in a Christmas Tree formation).

I hope not but they all seem to be there. It's some of tif newer ones which have either gone missing or not been shown at all. Like the man being followed by beer crates.
Yes, AFAIK all C4 idents from the December 2004 relaunch onwards are still in use, (with the exceptions of Sofa and Old Man) although some are relatively rare. I think I'm correct in saying that Stage is rarely seen although has been preceding weekday morning 'educational' programmes recently. Same with the stunning and massively underused Dubai.

Perhaps not but I think the ident may look better and the branding improved and clearer if the logo stayed on the screen a little longer.
I'd argue the opposite is true. The idents show that the C4 brand is SO strong that it only needs to appear for a fraction of a second to register.
Trying doing that with the Optical Express logo
Correct. I myself would go further, and say that the 'spot the 4' element actively encourages you to actually look for the logo, which etches the brand into your mind still further.
I agree with your points but I think by having the logo too brief could result in the viewer missing the logo entirely and thus the point of the ident (to identify the channel) being lost. I'm not saying keep the logo fully formed, just have it onscreen for a few more seconds.

People need to remember the point of the C4 idents is the subtle inclusion of the logo which you do have to spot.
I don't think they'd work anywhere near as well if the "4" just formed up then remained on screen.

Well, they don't take HM's Chrstmas message, so why should they bother with Christmas idents?

I praise channel 4 a great deal, it seems they are the only channel who take the religeous minorities into consideration.

Indeed.
Perhaps all their idents should just be based on teddy bears called <name of prophet deleted>.
