Another great addition to the C4 Christmas Idents. Switching from these this afternoon back to the giant walking man just highlighted how much better the simpler block idents are.

I 100% agree, the blocks have so much diversity, it would be nice to see them expanded. Unlike the other simpler block idents, I like how this one forms the logo and has the logo remaining on screen, something that hasn’t been seen since 2004.

The snow fall blocks ident has made an appearance

Guess the sprouts will be appearing again too if they haven't done so already.

I've seen them on the trailers.

It did alongside Lights and Clown on Sunday.

The group that has said they placed the ones elsewhere say they aren't involved in the UK ones. So mabey C4 has grasped it as an advertising campaign??

Danny Cowan was back on Channel 4 continuity this evening, having left at the end of March.

C4 using the original colour blocks for their promotion of new drama It's a Sin - probably more due to the 80s link than any impending tweak in presentation.

Nice detail to link to the themes of the 80's. Now, I wonder how an ident in this form could work with the coloured blocks and the 2015 style.

I think they should go back to those colours for some of the normal break bumpers. It looks really sleek.
