Guess the fault could have been a circuit go down between BB and C4. I am guessing that the programme is played down the line rather than rushing a tape to C4 pres.
I seem to recall from a previous discussion on here that it is indeed played down the line direct from the BB complex.
Re: Talk Talk sponsorship. Sponsors weren't allowed to advertise within the programme unitl recently, but I think the rules now allow them to - but not as the first or last ad in a break. As they are not aloud to outline the benefits of their product in sponsorship (that's why the "Free Talk on Talk Talk" slogan has been dropped - it got them into trouble, though the regulators didn't seem to notice until after the 10 week BB run!), they can in the advert.
Talk Talk I'm sure would have been very happy with their static caption on C4 last night - but channels quite often mess up the sponsor sting so things cancel each other out!
It was a very nice fault caption, even the music was nice, and not like any of the other channel's 80's incidental music that they seem to dig out.
It was also nice watching the 4 animation continue to animate, I presume that it's on a loop is it?
The only thing that would have made it better is if the background image changed.
Why don't they use this facility more, why don't they have an image associated with the programme in the 4 break bumpers or end of part slides?
Why when they're promoting BB News Alers don't they have a phone rather than what looks like bricks or concrete or something.
They play the music and the animation loop before 6.00am as before the rebrand if they have time to burn and is usally less than 5 minutes, regularly 2 or 3 minutes.
I was going to ask this a few days ago but I forgot. So they still do the 6am thing? it a menu or is it actually the "Programmes resume shortly" caption above? What is the purpose of this break in programmes every morning?

I suppose it's just a sort of marker as to where the day's programmes start - it's not like there's much to show then anyway. It's been done every morning since C4 went 24h.

I only saw the caption as I was practicing boxing with my brother in the hall, and I heard the announcer say "We Can Now Return To The House" I had no clue what was wrong though.
PRACTISING BOXING WITH YOUR BROTHER IN THE HALL?
Please explain!
