Channel 4 'Big Breakfast' Proposals

Channel 4 have received 51 programme proposals for a replacement for the Big Breakfast.

The following BIG players are in the frame :

The maker of Big Brother, Endemol

Planet 24 - believed to have submitted several proposals to replace it's own show

Chris Evans Ginger Productions

Granada Media Group - combined proposal from Granada and LWT

Talkback Productions (They think it's all Over)

MTV

Zig Zag Productions

It will be interesting to see what replaces it!

Maybe a return for the Channel 4 Daily.

Maybe Not.

Maybe they should take a feed from the ITN News Channel, it seems very fashionable at Breakfast these days !

Channel 4 need to completely scrap The Big Breakfast, and bring on a morning show that is more 21st centuryish. They need a cool new, exciting name.

You mean like the popular Breakfast or Good Morning Television?

Personally I think the Big Breakfast was best when it first started. The Chris Evans and Gaby Roslin style was just brilliant!

Also, have you noticed. Whenever they revamp the Big Breakfast, they always go back to the old style after about 6 months.

I thought Johnny Vaughn (sp??) was a good presenter and got the programme back on its feet, but when he went he was just rubbish again.

I still say bring back the Channel 4 Daily, you can never have enough news programmes!
