Deal or no Deal was a little different today. The set has changed, they have got a new floor. There is a scoreboard in the studio that says how much money they have given out and a couple of other stats. The bit where the contestant is chosen by their name appearing on the screen at the start of the programme has gone, Edmonds just goes up to the person and invites them to play now. The waiting contestants now have a light on the front of their desk that they can turn on too. So, when someone asks 'Would you deal?' they can turn their light on to signify that they would etc.

I'm guessing this is the first from the new Bottleyard Studios then since they moved the filming there in October.

I seem to recall reading it would be later on than this, might be wrong though.

No. I was talking about the physical studio location rather than the set. You only referred to set changes, my post was in response to soneone else's post.

Having watched a few minutes, I'd say they were in a new studio as even the lighting rigs looked different.

You managed a few minutes - well done. It's gone from a show I could happily watch everyday to one I couldn't get past the first couple of minutes when checking it to see what they'd done to the set.

How long have Channel Four been running their current idents?

Too long in my opinion!
Never really been a fan, hopefully they'll change them this year.

Why? There have the strongest brand of all the channels. I would like to see a few new ones, or at least used the drunk old man.

Since 2005.

To be pedantic it was the last day of 2004.
