Channel 4 is adding a Republic of Ireland advertising macro-region from 1st January, according to today's Irish Times. Of course, Irish advertisers having been using the NI opt-out since the station commenced.

will TV3 lose even more programmes?

No, because they don't show anything from Channel 4. They will find it even more tough to gain advertising revenue however,

C4 could do with sorting out the UK regions too - think Wales is lumped in with bits of the South and Anglia at the moment.

Yes that is bizarre considering S4C no longer carries English language programming.

Though from the list of launch apps announced, seems C4 isn't on PS4 with no 4oD app at launch.

20 episodes is hardly a full series - 40 would be more like it so more than 4 get dropped for the final.
