This was shown during yesterday's WAGs Come Dine with Me as well - albiet with a couple of different adverts.
Weird how like with a lot of the CA introduced adverts on C4, it was during Come Dine With Me again - the always seem to be - the T-Mobile Flashmob was as was the Honda live parachute jump, and maybe one or two others too. Strange

The Rocks ident was the last to be introduced in October 2006. They badly need to get a few more and withdraw some of the existing idents, to prevent the batch from getting boring.

I think when you have a good ident set that they should be added to instead of withdrawn. I remember when BBC2 had their classic ident period before the robotic 2 came in and they they introduced some new ones like Excalibur and withdrew Silk!! Silk is such a timelessly beautifully simple ident with haunting music. I think they should keep all of the current Channel 4 idents.
And sofa was quickly retired when one of the Des's quit Countdown (Lynam I think it was!) - I'd have thought they could surely edit it to feature another show.
I agree with the set C4 have got they shouldn't retire some idents just for the sake of it, but some new ones would be appreciated (though to be honest many of C4's idents still feel quite fresh) while some older ones could be put on the backburner - but not retired completely. Perhaps just used overnight, or used more sporadically.
Wouldn't the Roller Coaster ident then be C4's last regular ident introduced - I'm sure that's more recent than rocks.

Has the one introduced for the 3D week been used again (in 2D)?
I've not seen it. I haven't seen the one with beercrates on Channel 4 either, just on a website.
The idents I think should be replaced are the Pigeon ident and the Simpsons ident, because they they don't have the same theme as the others. The bales and market ident are very short, the are getting very repetitive during daytime viewing.
