I quite enjoyed Famous and Fearless this evening. Much better than the padded out first episode.
The programme just seems alot more fun now that everyone has got used to it. Chris Evans seems to be having more fun and is using plenty of gimmicks in his presenting style which I think is probably what people love/hate him for. These kind of shows always get comments like 'who?' and 'never heard of them' when the contestants are first revealed and I think that probably helps promote the show. I have heard and seen a lot of negative views on Twitter, Facebook and DigitalSpy which might help it pick up viewers later on in the week.
Famous and Fearless and now this dross, are we sure the axing of Celeb BB was a good move ?
Whenever I watch these kind of clip shows, I am always left wondering if the cost of starting and broadcasting a television channel will continue to get cheaper and cheaper and we will one day have the option of watching the complete 1980 World Disco Dancing Championships programme on a channel dedicated to such things. I hope so.
Anyway, 7% of the clips are interesting and 80% of them were interesting when they were first used in a clip show so it's not all bad. Although, shouldn't this be made in 4:3?

This programme really is the LOWEST quiltay television programme made by Channel 4, even the Ch5 top 50 countdown where, kill that.
I quite enjoyed the David Walliams programme. It just happened that I was already familiar with many of the early clips, but some of the later ones were new and interesting to me. I notice this programme didn't have a series link on Sky but apparently there are 2 more parts.
Just a little bug bear but tonight's Comedy Roast is being maked on my EPG as 'Barabara Windsor's Comedy Roast' and it was also spelt wrong on an opening caption.

The best thing about it was that the majority of the clips weren't the same old ones that have been shown on every clip show. Some fantastic research behind it and thankfully no talking heads telling us what they've been told to remember and what we've just seen!
