There was a very random pilot on last night at 8pm called It Pays To Behave which I didn't see any sort of promotion for. An amazingly low energy sort of game show hosted by Rylan where 2 parents have to get their annoying teenagers to behave in order to win cash. Very much feels like another Covid slot filler, the boy mentioned Brexit had just been delayed again so it's been on the shelf for some time.

I saw a bit of that, it was awful! Channel 4 aired a very similar programme called Britain's Best Parent? only a month or so ago, I wonder if this was the original concept.

Didn't see it, but you raise a good point it could've been the pilot for BBP.

It wasn't a pilot for BBP as they were made by two different production companies.

The last minute of the show was kind of amazing, they built a small studio for this somewhere which to be fair they did use at the beginning of the show, but at the end of the show where the amount of money they won was revealed in front of an audience (granted a small one) must have been on screen for all of 30 seconds. I can only assume they showed them clips of how well they did in the games on the day but it was just too deathly dull to show as part of the finished show.

I'd love to see a few more slot-filling failed pilots, even if they are boring and don't rate!

No cast yet however I have seen Richard Herring say he's doing some TV at the moment and there's not much else going on

I imagine Channel 4 will want some big comedy names for it to attract as big an audience as they can. But as we have had 45 of the more well known and current comedians working in the UK today, will they decide to keep it to comedians even ones who aren't as famous any more, or will they start throwing anyone "famous" in, and we're have members of the Made In ruddy Chelsea cast participating? Please no!

I saw that Herring/Taskmaster piece of detective work too and I think it's a good shout.

That’s a good line up, similar to the Dave series’. The makers of the trailer seem to have inadvertently recreated the 1996 channel 4 logo with the stamp.

It also seems like they even imitated the older Channel 4 promo style and having a still frame at the end.
Do you even read these?

Channel 4 HD's DOG arrangements got a bit confused on the 6pm Simpsons episode today:

It looked like it was one of the "remastered" episodes, but it didn't look right all the way through so I'm not sure now if it was a "remastered" edition or whether it just went out by accident in stretchyvision.

I think it was accidentally stretched, nothing looked like it was zoomed in, and didn't have the 'drawn over' effect.

Seems Taskmaster lasted one episode on CW, it's been dropped.
