There was a very random pilot on last night at 8pm called It Pays To Behave which I didn't see any sort of promotion for. An amazingly low energy sort of game show hosted by Rylan where 2 parents have to get their annoying teenagers to behave in order to win cash. Very much feels like another Covid slot filler, the boy mentioned Brexit had just been delayed again so it's been on the shelf for some time.
I saw a bit of that, it was awful! Channel 4 aired a very similar programme called Britain's Best Parent? only a month or so ago, I wonder if this was the original concept.
Didn't see it, but you raise a good point it could've been the pilot for BBP.
It wasn't a pilot for BBP as they were made by two different production companies.
The last minute of the show was kind of amazing, they built a small studio for this somewhere which to be fair they did use at the beginning of the show, but at the end of the show where the amount of money they won was revealed in front of an audience (granted a small one) must have been on screen for all of 30 seconds. I can only assume they showed them clips of how well they did in the games on the day but it was just too deathly dull to show as part of the finished show.
I'd love to see a few more slot-filling failed pilots, even if they are boring and don't rate!
