The irony of course being that Coca Cola's "Snow Globe" has been online for weeks now, so won't be new to many people.
I also saw it before a film at Cineworld about 2 weeks ago, which really defeats all the advertising leading up to it. Nice to see the effort C4 are going to though.
Couldn't help but notice whether something is changing in Channel 4's daytime line-up next year, as at the end of today's Countdown (series final) they said it will be back on January 10th at 3.10pm (instead of 3.25pm), so it's kind of interesting to see if anything new is going in the schedule or whether any other programmes are getting extended or cut short.

I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on it. But I have a feeling that Deal or No Deal's getting extended by 15 minutes.
On the Australian Deal or No Deal, they get through the show in half an hour. It seems more fun and laid back and they don't have all the drama inbetween opening each suitcase.
And here I was thinking this thread might have sprung to life because C4 weren't being Scrooges this year!
Regardless though of the debate over the need to extend Deal or No Deal, why can't it just get a 4pm slot with Countdown to 3.15pm - rather than the awkward 3.10/3.55 timing.
It would have been better really too for the new hour long Deal or No Deal to air at 4.30pm considering most things in the 5pm hour are now 30-minute shows and alternating shows like Come Dine with Me and Coach Trip might be more beneficially in the long run than airing them both in the hour.
Apparently, after 5 years, More4 are dropping their one and only highlight - The Daily Show. From January they'll only be airing the weekly global edition at 11pm. Presumably so they can air more Come Dine With Me.
A show revolving entirely around US politics is never going to be a huge ratings hit but still, It's a shame.

I was reading this on DS earlier, pretty bad considering it has a very loyal fanbase in the UK, granted not a large one, you gathered this as it's been in the same slot on More4 since the channel started in 2005, and even survived when they axed More4 News this time last year. Although what has been mentioned is why they're still showing the Global Edition and not the nightly ones, with some posters saying it's probably Channel 4 spitting out it's dummy to prevent another channel picking it up.
Again as mentioned (coughs DS) it would be worthy for Sky Atlantic, although they'll be showing big big programmes their schedule includes Curb Your Enthusiasm (again currently on More4) which is another show that doesn't get mega ratings, but has a loyal fanbase.
