He comes across dreadfully. A truly dire controller who is killing the channel at the moment. The Masked Singer with homeless buskers paragraph says it all.

Nothing new there, his tenure at Newsnight was awful. It has finally found its mojo back under Esme Wren.

Although somehow numbers are up, though maybe just because his 2nd year wasn't as dire as the first.

If it wasn't for Gogglebox and Bake Off, they'd be in a much worse state.

You can say that for most channels and their top couple of shows. I think only BBC2 really isn't reliant on specific shows at the moment, and that is probably why they have seen the biggest increase of all.

I thought we said no to Big Brother.

It took them the best part of a decade to recover from Big Brother. They'd be mad to revive it on the main channel.

I think it's totally possible Big Brother could come back to Channel 4.

I think Channel 4 recognise that it was the way they handled the racism issues morseso than a fault of Big Brother as a show.

With the right casting and budget it can stand the test of time.
