I think they'll struggle to ever top the 2010 line-up. Really seemed to match the show, whereas Jeremy Paxman - and now Rylan, just seem like odd choices.
That being said - I understood why they chose Paxman, being a massive name in political television. I'm at a loss as to why they think Rylan is suitable though?
These programmes are as stated 'Alternative' the bulk being made up with skits and comedy, being held together by Krishnan who'll update the viewers on the Political comings and goings. I'd have liked to see The Last Leg crew have a bash at this, but probably they'd be far too close to the edge for Channel 4 to handle, on a potentially charged night.
Does Rylan even have a passing interest or knowledge in UK politics, or is it an alternative, as in a completely different programme.
In a way though preferable to the likes of David Mitchell or Charlie Brooker where you already know their political views. Rylan opens it up to a wider audience. It's a gamble but one worth taking IMO.
