Last time I looked at it also the Magic stream was 16:9 in either a 14:9 or 4:3 frame, I can't remember which exactly.

It seemed to be like that for weeks and no-one noticed, or even cared.

Looks like Channel 4 are shuffling the box plus channels as well Box Upfront is getting brand new shows including the Box Upfront Chart top 40 etc. According to a Kiss Fm DJ on Twitter.

Thoughts? I know 4music on Sky has been in the entertainment section for a while now, still in the music section on Virgin though.

Only one problem... it isn't a new show, The Official Box Upfront Chart has been around for a few years already, that poster is probably only pointing it out that said Kiss FM DJ Alex Mansuroglu took over the voiceover roll from TalkSPORT 2's Jon Jackson and was promoting it last night (though he's been doing it since about October I believe).

Strange that 4Music is left out of the onscreen notices about the channel swap, they seemed to be making more of a fuss with the channel by boosting the channel’s shows catalogue that it just feels like a little bit of a weird step to ignore it.

Looks like the channels have now moved.

4Music is getting absolutely loaded with old E4 content from the states that were former staples in the E4 schedule, stuff like Scrubs, 2 Broke Girls, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl - may as well call it E4 Rewind now! Not complaining though...

Considering ITV so needed ITVBe because ITV2 just didn't have enough ad time to sell I'd have thought there is a similar argument for a second E4 channel, and there is definately a bit of a gap in the market for it. Maybe just reviving the E4 Music brand for the channel would let them tick both boxes, though now they've emphasised the 4 branding on all channels can't see them doing that.

E4 music only came about because E4 used to be full of live coverage of the Big Brother house (indeed Big Brother coverage was the only reason the channel came on air during the day) and when a series of Big Brother ended Channel 4 needed something to fill the gap on E4 with, hence E4 Music and this trailer:

Ironically enough when 4 Music came along, E4 Music disappeared shortly afterwards.

The Rob Rinder thing isn’t a surprise the New Year show felt like it was some sort of pilot for a new show.

I did wonder if Joe Lycett’s brilliant consumer affairs show may have been originally planned for him that said it’s inline with the sort of thing Lycett does in stand up and very much in his style.

It sounds like Junior Baker Off will be a primetime show.

With 15 episodes I'd say Junior Bake Off will get a three week daytime run, probably at 5.30pm.
