When the programme continued, Tim Lovejoy revealed that some viewers had even switched off as a result of the unexpected glitch.

"We lost some of our viewers due to a technical fault."

*sigh* The article is talking right out of its arse, viewers switch off? Are they BARB? #ClickbaitJournalism

Yes and local clickbait journalism too. What the heck does it have to do with Birmingham?

I get suggested news stories on my Google App on my phone and recently I've been regularly getting stories from a Manchester newspaper website who seem to have a nonstory about This Morning or other daytime TV shows every day.

No wonder local journalism is dying, their outlets are full of clickbait nonsense and their websites unreadable due to the sheer amount of ads

Yup, I wonder if it was BT Tower related, however I didn't see a slate.

They were due off air at 1230 - personally I'd go for more than just ten minutes wiggle room at the end, and it seems unlikely they'd accidentally book the circuit end time for a full two hours before they intended. (One hour before is a far more likely mistake, and something I live in fear of at each clock change).

The BT Tower router doesn't switch back to the slate it did 10 years ago - it's a far more functional set of colour bars, with an idented black line rolling down the picture.

Viewers were forced to switch off Channel 4's Sunday Brunch this weekend after a massive on-air gaffe.

The programme lost a bunch of viewers as it was interrupted a technical issue mid-way through the Mother's Day special episode.

1. They weren’t forced.
2. It really wasn’t that long. I don’t blame them though.

Bad reporting in whole article, in my opinion.

Oh no, not the Mother Day's special of Sunday Brunch! The highlight of the viewing calendar!

It should be no surprise to you then that most of them are owned by the Mirror.

Oh yes quite often lifting articles off each other and forgetting to change local references.

Don't get me started on the terrible captions they use in twitter.

Yes, I've got nothing against them as a company but their websites are really really terrible.

My local ITV region always annoy me by not putting locations on their Facebook posts, so I click on the story about the massive fire that happened overnight or something only to find its a hundred miles away in some place I've never heard of

Someone didn't take the clock change into account when booking the lines again?

That looked to me more like a fault (equipment failure) than a line switch

If you look at the video we can see briefly the 50/50 field (grey/mauve) psychological path test signal. Not sure what it tells us if anything.

Yes, I noticed that. I’m sure I’ve seen some types of ‘glue’ cards go into that mode when presented with ‘digicrap’ ?

Does anyone else seem to be having issues with Audio Description on Channel 4 (SD) on Freesat? It seems to be on by default.
