What rule is in place to say that Channel 4 and Sky can't show The Simpsons at the same time? Wasn't it also related to how the Sky Guide had to list Channel 4's airings as "The Simpsons" and Sky's as "Simpsons"?

I noticed the Simpsons is shown on 4Seven - I always thought it was only to be shown on Channel 4 due to rights

They may have negotiated the rights to show the programme on the family of Channel 4 channels given that since they first got the rights they've had to negotiate the right to show the show on Channel 4 HD and Channel 4+1.

Interesting tin see The Simpsons scheduled for 4Seven, wonder whether this will become a permanent fixture? I wonder whether they’ll be allowed to show it on E4, unless that’s a total no no.

4Seven started broadcasting The Simpsons on Saturday 11th November. They're airing four-episode blocks on Saturdays only, from 8pm, comprising recently-broadcast C4 episodes - or, at least, they were; after the 18th November marathon, there's nothing on the schedule for the 25th. Time will tell whether these two weekends were a mere blip, or the show will indeed have a more permanent home here.

They’re the same ones and shown in the same order as Monday-Friday last week at 6pm on C4.
The ones that are going to be shown this Saturday are some of the episodes shown as part of last Sunday’s Simpsons Day.
Which episodes were 4Seven repeating - the 6pm ones?

I wonder if they could do a Simpsons marathon akin to the US ‘every Simpson ever’ marathon (but obviously not every single one, only up to the part Channel 4 is licensed to) to bring attention to the channel. It’s something that I’m puzzled someone like Sky haven’t done sooner, who could make a pop up channel for it etc

Does anyone really notice that the Simpsons is on any more?
