C4 seem to have basically sold advertising space to a company to advertise a C4 show, with Best Laid Plans "in association with Hiscox Home Insurance" just being advertised in the standard C4 style but clearly labelled as an "ADVERTISEMENT".
How long has the 7.55pm type show been included within the break of Channel 4 News for? There was a 5 minute plus break then for an journalism awards nominee, it was even introduced by an ident with continuity.
I've only seen The Political Slot scheduled at 7.55 over the last year and not seen any such shows within the breaks, though I'm far from a regular viewer.

To be honest I donβt watch Channel 4 News that much, just noticed it tonight as we were early tuning in for Bake Off.
Soo one of the announcers just swore during a credit squeeze (promoting a programme called 'End Of The F**king World') Is this a first? Usually at work, we ask them to 'suggest' it without saying it.
π Hearing the voiceover guy say, "The end of the fucking world" cracked me up! They had asterisks on the screen but.. π.. #CelebrityHunted
I have to say I was surprised to hear the BBC 2 announcer use the word 'pimps' when trailing something last night (possibly the Louis Theroux documentary, I'm not sure).
