Going off topic I realise, but Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has had quite a lot of blatent product placement - although they do have fun with it. Orange is the New Black did in the latest season too with a storyline involving Cheetos

I must look out for more evidence. I don't recall detecting anything in 'Better Call Saul' or 'Breaking Bad'[...]

Difference being that Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul weren't made for Netflix whereas Orange Is The New Black and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt were.

Fair point. So the only Netflix 'original' I've seen is HoC.

How do they do product placement on a period drama such as The Crown ?!

Displaying the packaging that brand used during that time maybe?

And of course even Netflix has it's 'credit squeezes' even if it's done by the software.

I've not seen one (yet !)

Oh, what a joy! The Netflix on the PS4 only shows 5 to 20 f****** seconds of a running end credit sequence, with music I'd like to listen to or outtakes or dialogue, before skipping to the next episode without any preference.

It counts down to when the next episode is going to play, just press circle and it will stop auto play and let the credits continue.
If the credits still stay squeezed, just point back to them and press x to go back to full screen.

I'm amazed ! I use a Sony BDP-S1200 BluRay/ Media box, I've never had any of that annoying crap. I'll make sure I never update its firmware!

Not sure what Platform you're using, but they happen to me more-or-less everytime. (Samsung Smart TV & Netflix.com)

As I said one post up, Sony BDP-S1200 BluRay/ Media box, never ever had any interference to the end credits.

Channel 4 in Liverpool? No better home for it, according to a certain P Redmond...

From C4's annual report:

"Later this summer, Channel 4 will also unveil its next wave of brand idents – with a new set of films created by outgoing Heads of 4Creative, John Allison and Chris Bovill and the award winning director of the We’re the Superhumans campaign, Dougal Wilson of Blink Productions."

I would guess this would coincide with Bake Off.
