What do you mean by "Amish programme"? What programme was the reminder for?
The reminder was for 'Amish: World's Squarest Teenagers'
After the break during tonights The Simpsons the reminder stayed on during the return to the programme but not as long (10sec)
Now watching The Simpsons on Channel 4 & the Sky Green button for remind is on screen!
EDIT: After 1 minute (Amish programme) the reminder has disappeared - not sure how that works now.

Yeah there's the smaller one the slides in from the side, but the one the takes the whole width up along the bottom needs either replacing or scrapping.
Actually there's 2 versions of the bottom IPP, one that squashes the picture upwards and one that simply overlays.

MediaWatch on their high horse again - but just showing themselves up to be as bigotted and narrow minded as the BNP, over a new show where people with facial disfigurements will live with the vain.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/7957797/Channel-4-criticised-for-new-reality-freak-show.html?
Despicable how people who believe they are on the moral high ground would rather label the disabled and disfigured as "freaks" rather than applaud the channel for showing a commitment to giving such people a platform to show they are far from freaks (as Big Brother has done to some extent) as part of a concerted effort tied into their deal to broadcast the Paralympic Games.
Mediawatch here using the phrase "freaks" as a very negative and derogatory term at the same time as C4 is running an extensive promo campaign for the countdown to the Paralympics where "freaks of nature" are being celebrated for the people who they are and their achievements in life.

Love this bit
But she doesn't seem to thinks it's unhealthy or inappropriate to put an attractive person in this mirrored house. From that one comment, I think C4 have done exactly what they set out to do with this programme, and that seems to (again) gone straight over the heads of "MediaWatch".

Putting a disfigured person in a mirrored house in the name of entertainment is neither a healthy nor an appropriate subject for a television programme.

It's because of the press and their narrow minded opinions on people and their views, that Big Brother ended up being diminished, controlled, and eventually axed.
Of course, the press will put all the blame on Channel 4 and Jade Goody, as that's easier to write.
