It was actually (one of) his band(s) who made the title music (both start and end) for Bottom.

He did The Wheel's On Fire for Ab Fab as well, didn't he?

As in the studio at 124 Horseferry Road? Crowd pleasing vagueness doesn't work around here! Come on, studio locations, lighting director, name of the catering company, etc, ect..

I jest of course. As a little 'easter egg' for those that stay to the production company endcap - it was nice of Objective Productions to do something original and come up with that little live insert.
Interesting that a 'live producer' was also credited. So is that who to blame for the late cue, off the end of the VT? Very Happy

Yep, it was at Horseferry Rd.

Yep, it was at Horseferry Rd.

I heard it was actually at a studio in Francis House which is another Channel 4 office nearby. It's the registered address at Ofcom for 4 Music

My mistake, it is Francis House. Same studio that the live afternoon shows on 4Music come from.

I guess it means at least one music channel has live programming again rather than just being automated videos. I remember the days when MTV had loads of live shows, but it's long gone. When was the last time we had a live music show on one of the channels, Pop The Q on TMF? That must be nearly a decade ago.

At the moment 4Music has Trending Live on weekdays, a couple of hours of live links in between videos with social media input etc. Back in October there was Shout Outs on Fridays, which was a full hour live show with a small studio audience with interviews, features and viewer votes.

I noticed this TreƱding Live show on 4music the other day.

I assumed this was something 4music just did but reading this thread suggests it's relatively new.

Must say, it's a great idea. I enjoyed watching it I must admit. It's perfect for their audience too.

It's actually not unlike T4.... T4 should have moved to 4music as most of it was interviews with musicians and they even had their own festival T4 on the beach.

Also, for those who may not have noticed yet - Viva is back and it's a full music channel again. Now, viva have a similar show to 4music's trending live but it's not live it's just interviews

Viva never went away, it's been there the whole time on Sky & Virgin!

It never went away on Freeview, just changed channel number and reduced its hours, and has increased them again with the closure of Rishtey
