I think the story of the new idents has the 9 blocks of the 4 logo being depicted as precious, kryptonite-like items. They appear in some bits of the ident if you can spot them.
It Simpson day today again, which is always the first Sunday after its birthday.
And yet in a few weeks time the Chancellor will deliver an Autumn Statement that is widely expected to include some details on the privitisation of Channel 4. They're hardly doing themselves any favours in showing themselves worthy to remain a public entity when running six hours of The Simpsons episodes and movie for the god knows how many time.
No doubt Ch4 will always throw up the issue of Ch4 News and Dispatches, but lets be honest, Ch4 is a channel of Simpsons, Hollyoaks, Come Dine, Location and Gogglebox and all other manner of general blandness. The real public service stuff is very much the exception in the schedule.

And the same C4 which earlier this year showed World Drama in peak with Witnesses and then shunted The Returned to More4 bizarrely.
C4 in 2015 is over formatted docu-tripe with very few exceptions.

Does E4 have anything ground break? or is it just US sitcom?

The format of C4 though has always been that they show things like The Simpsons, Hollyoaks and popular content like Gogglebox in order to make money to put into things like Channel 4 News and Dispatches. Selling off C4 would mean they'd still show stuff like The Simpsons but to make money for sharehodlers, not the news team.
